My 18th birthday and 17th birthday are so different. My 17th birthday was memorable, touching, unexpected and special. My 18th birthday, even though not as special as my 17th, it was funny but touching and sweet.
This time round, it is my JC friends who celebrated my birthday with me. I went to school as usual (can you believe how we're still having school even though it's June holiday ._.) It didn't start off well because I felt exceptionally tiring. Then during our first break, my JC friends (Sasha, June, Likai ) went to prepare the bday cake secretly. So everything went according to their plan. My sitting position had my back facing them and Shien was trying to distract me by talking to me. Then, just at that wrong/right moment, I turned my head and saw them. They were frantically trying to light the candles. At that moment, I got so excited that I quickly approached them and cracked some jokes. (They were a lil disappointed that they didn't manage to carry out the whole plan because of my interruption). Then, they sang bday song. And we eat our cake happily ever after.
Throughout the whole surprise, I felt blessed. And I can feel their love for me. I especially love the part when they were all singing birthday song for me. My heart was immediately filled with love. Really thankful to them (Shien, Sasha, June, Melina, Likai) for taking the trouble to plan for my birthday.

Second part of the birthday celebration was with baby Jiaxin. We went out for lunch and dessert, spending quality time with each other. Time spent with her was always very enjoyable and fun.
Third part was spent with Judo mates. Even though none of them know that it was my birthday that day. HAHA. But had fun training together and having dinner with them.
Last part of my birthday is of course, THE PRESENTS!
Shien gave me a painting that she and Joey painted. With a handwritten birthday card. It's the first time I received a painting as a birthday present so it is really special for me.
June gave me a pink necklace. HAHA. Pink again!
Sasha wrote me a birthday card. Thank you 朋友！
Sasha, June, Melina, Likai and Shien gave me a huge birthday card! Omg totally didn't expect it! Really thankyouuuuuu to you guys! I'm so happy to have you guys as friends really. (Btw, Likai's bday msg is really really sweet! Haha!)
Jiaxin gave me some make-up accessories which is really special for me too since it signifies the start of adulthood (learning how to put on make-up), and it's something unexpected too.
Amelia wrote me a birthday card and DIY something for me. I don't know what to call it. HAHA. Anyway, it's really pretty and I love it too.
Shimin gave me a giant pink rabbit soft toy which I really like too because it's so big and soft! And cute!
Michelle wrote me a birthday card and gave me a bottle of stars and a star necklace. Thank you Michelle! That's really sweet of you! :D
Bro's girlfriend gave me a face mask, a cute pen, a very cool necklace and two cute hairclips! I totally didn't expect receiving present from her! Haha! Felt really thankful.
Mum gave me one angbao. Haha! Really realistic yet useful haha!
Dad gave me a set of really really expensive jewellery omg. I really don't need them lor! Even though seeing them makes me happy. AND AND, MY FATHER SMS ME 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!' OMG. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? I JUST DIED OF HAPPINESS HAHA!
Not forgetting Sheryl's birthday lunch to Arnold! The chicken is awesome ok! HAHA. I really eat till very SHUANG. Also we went to watch The Great Gatsby which is a really really memorable movie. Because it was such a 'weird' movie. It kept me thinking for a long long time. Jay Gatsby died in the end. It's so sad you know! Why must he die?! :( He's so devoted to Daisy and his dreams :(
My birthday ended with my mum celebrating with me at home. Hehe!
I must say this birthday make me feel so loved and blessed. I really love all these lovely people.
I had a good 18th birthday! :)
